Co-ords are loungewear sets that include a matching top and bottoms. These can be anything from joggers, shorts, or trousers to T-shirts, camisoles, button ups and hoodies! The beauty of co-ords is that they can be mixed and matched with different colours and sets, so you're not tied to the same outfit every day.
Not all bras are advisable to wear for sleep. If you're someone who wears a bra to bed, discover our best and most comfortable sleep bras.
Co-ords are great for mixing and matching, it can be a good idea to get two co-ords of the same but in different colour ways. It's nice to wear a co-ord set because even though it's loungewear, it just feels a bit more 'put together' because it's a matching set.
Jumpsuits come as an all-in-one garment, rather than separate pieces. They're comfortable to wear and can be put on in one swift movement, which is ideal for when you need to look "presentable" in an instant. However, before you buy a jumpsuit, there's one vital thing to remember! Going to the bathroom in one can pose a real challenge as you'll have to fully undress every time nature calls.
I love jumpsuits for comfort, they can hide a multitude of sins. They're great for loungewear as they are easy to throw on. They can be good, I think, for those more 'bloated' days. A looser fit jumpsuit like a boiler suit style is ultra-comfortable and easy to wear.
A loungewear set that's cut to a straight silhouette will flatter the figure of women whose shoulders, hips, and waist all roughly have the same measurements. Similarly, if you have slim thighs, but tend to store the majority of your weight around the middle, you'll likely be best suited to straight cut loungewear too.
When it comes to bottoms, fashion experts recommend flares and cropped trousers for those with a straight body type. These styles will look particularly elegant and help to elongate the legs.
Straight silhouettes are great for all body types but especially for people who are 'straight up and down' or bigger round the middle. They just hang nicely and loosely, providing comfort and giving a flattering look. There are many different leg shapes, cropped, flared, etc., so it's worth finding what best suits you.
The term 'plus size' incorporates a range of measurements and sizes. However, unlike straight sizing, plus-sized clothing is tailored to fit a curvier silhouette. So if your bust and hip measurements exceed the size of your waist, you may find these cuts provide a more comfortable fit.
For curvier girls, crop tops and high-waisted pants will flatter your figure and highlight the curve of your back and hips. Note that plus size and curvy ranges tend to start at a UK size 14, which for some may make shopping for the right fit a lot easier.
Lots of brands and stores now offer a plus size range. It's great because regular fits can go wrong on a curvier woman, even in the bigger sizes. Plus sizes are better for women with bigger hips and bust. It's good to try both, often if you have a bigger bust, the plus size will not only be more comfortable but look more flattering.
Shopping for clothes when you're pregnant can be a nightmare! Your old clothes just don't fit the same and suddenly you need something to cover you and your bump. Luckily, there are maternity loungewear sets that are loose, comfortable and have a big stretchy section over the middle to accommodate for baby as they grow.
You may be surprised to know is that the sizes are the same when you're shopping for maternity clothes, so you can buy whatever size you were pre-pregnancy. Of course, pregnancy cravings exist, so many women prefer to size up.
Maternity, again just like plus size, is found in most brands and stores. It's great now because the styles in the mainline are often reflected, so where you may like something in the regular fit, it's usually recreated in a maternity size, meaning you don't have to wear a completely different style just because you're pregnant.
Cotton is one of the most popular materials in loungewear manufacture. This is because it's lightweight and breathable. Cotton is a great fit for both summer loungewear and winter garms as it comes in a variety of weights and textures, and can be blended with other fibres for improved stretch and insulation.
Polyester comes second to cotton on the quality scale. It's heavier and less breathable, so can trap heat better to keep you warm. Since polyester is synthetic, it won't shrink when washed or become stretched out when worn. This is a real advantage in comparison to cotton's susceptibility to warping when washed at certain temperatures.

Cotton is a perfect choice for loungewear, it is lightweight, breathable, and more importantly, natural. If you've just showered or bathed and are having a chilled night, it's so good to have natural fibres next to the skin. It's going to let the skin breathe and just feel more comfortable overall.
These three super stretchers are what make your clothes well-fitted and flexible. All three of them serve the same purpose, which is to provide additional comfort in your loungewear. Of course, you won't find a set that is entirely made up of stretchy materials, they actually only take up around 5% of the total composition.
The rest of the fabric composition will depend on the garment. Although, you will often find these fibres blended with cotton or polyester. If the loungewear set you've chosen doesn't have elastane, this just means that it won't be very flexible, so consider what's most comfortable for you, before you buy it.
Cotton mixes with elastane viscose etc. can provide stretch, which is so important for loungewear as you want to be able to move freely and sit or lay in positions for long periods without feeling any restrictions. It's good also to look at the care labels when choosing fabrics, as this can make a purchase an easier decision.
These two materials are the cosiest choices of all. Acrylic is an ideal winter-time material, thanks to its highly insulating properties that help to keep the warmth in and the cold out. It also offers a knit-like texture which is not only comfortable, but very on-trend!
Fleece, also labelled as faux-sheepskin, is a thick, woolly fabric that makes you feel like you're wearing a big, cosy blanket. Fleece is probably best saved for the coldest nights of the year as it may be a little too warm for autumn and spring.

Fleece is the ultimate favourite for loungewear, a nice pullover half zip is so cosy for throwing over pyjamas. You can even now buy super comfy fleece bottoms! Loungewear has really expanded now in terms of fabrics and styles since it's all we were wearing last year!
Certain fabrics require different methods of cleaning, so it's important that you check the care label prior to purchase. If you have a washing machine at home, you may prefer loungewear that's machine washable to save you time doing the laundry.
If your loungewear isn't washing machine-friendly, you'll have to wash it by hand which can be a bit of an inconvenience. This is usually only the case if the materials are very delicate to avoid pilling or shrinkage.
It's especially important when buying loungewear to check the washing instructions because you're going to be wearing them a lot and therefore washing them a lot, so you don't want to create too much work for yourself.
We love this casual two-piece co-ord from Crazy Girls! Although it's cut to a straight silhouette, the cropped boxy tee and three quarter length trousers with drawstring waist are sure to suit a range of body shapes and sizes.
It's lightweight enough to be worn in the summer, and can be layered up for wear during the cooler months of the year. Not a fan of camel? There are nine colours for you to choose from, and at only £17, you could even buy a couple of different sets to mix and match!
This lightweight set consists of a straight leg trouser and a loose, comfortable borg hoodie, in a calming cream shade - just what you need when lounging. The slouchy fit makes this one your go-to set for when you're expecting or hiding a food baby.
A great choice for when you need to nip out to the shops, or meet the postman to collect your deliveries. Add some jewellery and put your hair in a messy top knot, and you'll be feeling gorgeously civilised and ready to start your day!
This jumpsuit was made to look stunning on curvier girls with casual short batwing sleeves, a high neck and wide-cut trousers, all tied together by a delicate drawstring waist. A relaxed fit, it will fall loosely over the body, giving you freedom to move.
The jersey fabric lends it a bit of sportswear-chic so you can wear it around the house, for video conferences, or even out and about. We recommend styling it with a cropped denim jacket to complete the look.
This loungewear set includes not one, not two and not even three, but four whole pieces! One for those who like to mix and match outfits, the ribbed culotte bottoms come with the option of matching either with a shirt or a crop top, depending on your mood.
If it's a bit chilly, you can throw on the snuggly oversized cardigan to complete your look. The ribbed material and loose fitting keeps things elegant, yet casual, and incredibly comfortable to wear! The colour is also a nice shade of khaki throughout, which is a comfy yet versatile colour that you can also match with anything else.
This beautiful piece is made with a waffle texture, giving it a unique yet comfortable feeling and look. The loose fitting, long-sleeved playsuit features two large side pockets in case you need to store anything.
With a wide, relaxed fit, all types of body sizes and shapes will look great in this playsuit. Cosy and practical, plus a point collar for added style, ASOS' spin on this Scandinavian style is all you'll want to wear at home.
Super cosy and brilliantly baggy, this set was made for snuggling with a hot cup of tea, and maybe a bit of Netflix? When it's cold outside, and you haven't got anywhere to be, you're sure to appreciate the soft and fluffy fleece fabric.
Even better, this set doubles as PJs for those days where you find yourself crawling back into bed. If grey isn't your thing, it's available in five different colours, so you'll be able to find your perfect match.
This snuggly loungewear set comes with an oversized hoodie that's ideal for covering your bump. Even better, the baggy cut means that once baby arrives, you'll still be able to get plenty of wear out of it!
It's important for soon-to-be mums to keep warm, which is why this set is such a fantastic choice for winter. The velvet-feel velour fabric is exceptionally insulating and comfortable, with cuffed joggers to ensure no cold air can sneak through.
With a ribbed pattern crew-neck tee and shorts, this is the ultimate chill-out set. One of our top picks for spring and summer, the relaxed fit and lightweight fabric blend will keep you feeling cool and comfortable.
Need to pop out for a carton of milk? Swap out the shorts for a pair of jeans or trousers and you're good to go. We're sure you'll love this set as much as we do, especially in this cosy grey colour.
When it comes to on-trend loungewear, you can't beat this set! Sleek and sporty, this outfit will be your go-to from summer to winter. It features a cropped hoodie and cropped top, paired with a tapered fit jogger. If it wasn't so comfortable, you wouldn't think it was loungewear at all!
Made from 100% cotton, it has the feeling of sweatshirt fabric, which offers just the right amount of stretch for a flattering fit, whatever your body shape. We just wish it wasn't quite so expensive! But since you'll be getting three pieces of clothing that you'll get good wear out of, we think it's worth the buy.
This cute and cosy set isn't just perfect for wearing indoors, throw on pair of converse and a belted trench coat and you'll be instantly ready to hit the streets. The light cream colour looks great when paired with warm reds and rusty autumnal shades.
This relaxed top with flared trousers is well suited to a straight silhouette. As this set is made entirely from polyester, it's somewhat lacking in quality compared to a cotton blend. Although not as soft, the fabric does have a fluffy finish we absolutely love!
