    Button Down Pyjamas Set

    Emily Woosey

Pyjamas, loungewear, athleisure whatever you want to call it we've all become accustomed to it over the past twelve months but let's be honest - it is the best. Who can relax in jeans? Not me! Comfort is key here so whatever makes you feel cosiest, for me that's a pair of soft pyjamas and a dressing gown - all year round.

This set is amazing - just the right amount of fluffy without the abominable snowman look. Amazingly, you sort of still look presentable when answering the door to the postman, I won't be going to the shops in them anytime soon but it's definitely a better look!
  • Whittard of Chelsea
Coffees of The World Gift Set

    Emily Woosey

Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water with lemon. Whatever your hot drink of choice is, it is essential! I always go for a coffee, the most used item in my kitchen is my milk frother but we'll get onto that later. My coffee pick is the Whittard Coffees of the World set.

Now, this isn't my everyday coffee this is the fancy stuff! I love that you get a choice, there are nine different flavours of ground coffee beans from around the world, so there will definitely be something you'll enjoy! My personal favourite is the Sumatra blend with its hints of chocolate - next time I'm at Whittard I'll be purchasing a large bag!
  • Tony's Chocolonely
    Chocolate Bar

    Emily Woosey

Chocolate. This was always going to be included. For this, I've chosen Tony's Chocolony, which I am obsessed with. But Cadburys, Lindt and Galaxy are all up there! I've included links to three different flavours because I really can't choose.

One of my favourite things about this chocolate, apart from the taste, is that it's completely fair trade and the brand are aiming to end slavery in the chocolate industry. As if I needed an excuse to eat more chocolate.
  • Rainbow Cool Stuff
    Sherpa Throw Blanket

    Emily Woosey

It can't be just me who absolutely needs a blanket year-round? I feel a little lost if I'm sat reading without it - like I'm missing a layer! This one is so cosy, as I said I am a morning reader so whatever time of year it is at 6 am I always need a blanket this cosy as living in the North of England is cold!

This is double sided grey and white so you have a choice aesthetics wise - but honestly, for me, it's the fluffiness - is that a word? - it just makes those cold, dark, rainy mornings ten times better!

    Sherlock Buttoned Chair

    Emily Woosey

Not an essential purchase obviously - I'm assuming you have a chair or a seating space in your house already, but I always get compliments on my Next chair so I had to include it.

This is the cosiest chair, I find a lot in this style are quite uncomfortable but because this has a recliner feature it's actually really comfortable and the perfect size to curl up in! One thing I will mention is that when you recline your cushion falls down the back which is the most pedantic thing I could mention but also super annoying when it happens!
  • Miulee
    Tasseled Cushion Covers

    Emily Woosey

Speaking of cushions - they are absolutely essential for creating a cosy reading space and they probably should be further up my list! Again, I'm sure you have a pillow or two at home, but I'm one of those annoying people who love a pillow on the bed and hates to take them off, so our spare room has about 10 pillows on it - sorry guests!

This beige Miulee pillow cover is top of my to-buy list for the home. I love neutrals at the minute - even though my house is definitely anything but neutral! Neutral accessories can really bring the room together without demanding too much commitment. Although, swappable cushion covers are the perfect way to commit to a bold print if you're unsure how it'll look!

Black Metal Magazine Rack | Bronx S Side Table

    Emily Woosey

Hear me out on this one - a side table is a must! Where else will you put all of your other cosy reading essentials? I've linked two here because I have one and my mum has the other and I can't decide between the two! I actually love them both.

The magazine rack from amazon is perfect for holding my monthly to-be-read pile. Each month I put the books I'm going to read below and then hopefully I get through them all but there are some that have been there for a few months!

The Next one actually fits books perfectly on the shelf making it the perfect Bookstagram accessory - is this a thing?! - but any side table will do! It's perfect if it's easily moveable so I can just take my whole table and have the perfect perch for my coffee if I decide to read elsewhere.
  • Jo Malone London
    Orange Blossom Home Scented Candle

    Emily Woosey

You cannot do cosy without a candle - I don't think it's possible! I always have some sort of candle burning mostly for the cosiness but also because it means I stay focused on my task, whether that's reading or working because every time I leave the room I have to blow it out and relight which is a minor inconvenience I don't want twenty times a day!

This Jo Malone Orange Bitters is my all-time favourite candle. I received it as a Christmas gift a few years ago and have been obsessed ever since. It is a little (a lot) pricy but... I didn't need to even burn this for twelve months because the smell was so strong. So there's a little hack for when you're talking yourself into an expensive candle!
  • Miroco
Electric Milk Steamer Liquid Heater With Hot & Cold Milk Functionality

    Emily Woosey

This might seem a little extra but once you try it you will never go back! I make all of my coffee with a milk frother now. The one linked is my personal favourite - it's easy to clean and use. I've tried many - plus a lot of handheld ones - which I would never use again as I always find the froth doesn't last. You don't want your drinks spoiling the mood of a book!

The Miroco milk frother can be used to make hot or cold froth, hot chocolates, lattes, cappuccinos - you name it! There are two settings: one for froth and one for heating. I personally prefer the froth, but you can only make one cup at a time so if I'm making multiple drinks I opt for the heating option, which still gives a little froth!
