I've leant this book out to so many people - it's incredible! It all seems too good to be true when Rowan gets a live in nannying job with amazing pay in the beautiful Scottish highlands. That is until one of the children ends up dead.
I couldn’t figure out what was going to happen with all the twists and turns along the way, it really kept me guessing! I didn’t expect it to be a scary as it was but it was actually quite creepy! Definitely not a nighttime read.
There is not much I can tell you about this without giving it all away but it is based on the same novel as The Haunting of Bly Manor so that gives you a good indication of the vibe of this book! There are definitely some similarities - both are perfect for this time of year! I would definitely recommend you pick this up and can’t wait to read more of Ruth Ware’s writing!
